Welcome to Moses Lake Christian Academy.  We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our school.  The goal of Moses Lake Christian Academy is to offer a Christ-centered, quality educational program to the Christian community of Moses Lake and the surrounding area.  We believe that God has established the home and the church as the primary sources of spiritual development.  The school in no way intends to replace those institutions, but seeks to support them, holding Christ preeminent in all things.  We believe that each student, being created in the image of God, is of supreme worth.  We believe the dignity and worth of each individual should be respected.  We understand  that students vary in their inherent and acquired capabilities and that those differences must be considered.  Our goal is to encourage a student's growth spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially.

     If this coincides with what you are seeking for your child, we invite you to fill out the materials for admission to Moses Lake Christian Academy and look forward to having you join our school family.  The application process is as follows:

1.  Prospective families will submit the application with a $150.00 admissions fee per student and other forms listed at the bottom of this page.

2.  Parent(s) and student(s) will meet with the administration for an interview to discuss personal history, philosophy, and Christian commitment.

3.  After the interviews, the family or MLCA may decide to not continue with the admissions process.  In that event, $50.00 of the admissions fee will be refunded to the family. 

4.  The next step in the admissions process is testing.  MLCA will schedule a time for testing.  Each student must be tested before acceptance into MLCA.  This testing does not guarantee acceptance but allows us to assess each student's ability. 

5.  Once a student is tested, the admissions fee is nonrefundable.

6.  Review of the testing will determine where the student is to be placed in the MLCA educational program or if other educational options besides MLCA are in the best interest of the student.

Forms that must be submitted before interview process:

q  Application Fee: 

Make check payable to Moses Lake Christian Academy.  The application cannot be processed until the application fee has been paid.

• K – 12^th Grades - $150
• J1 Visa Exchange Student - $500
• F1 Visa Exchange Student - $1,000

q  Parents Pledge Form: 

Both parents and/or legal guardians need to agree to and sign this form.

q  Tuition Payment Options:

Please choose your payment plan.  Families opting to pay tuition on a monthly schedule need to fill out the Agreement for Pre-authorized Withdrawal’s form.

q  Student Character Reference Form: 

      Parents:  Please submit this form to your pastor, church leader or other representative who is most familiar with your family.  Provide a stamped envelope addressed to:  Admissions at MLCA.

q  Teacher Recommendation: 

      Please give the Teacher Recommendation Form to the student’s current teacher(s).  This form should be mailed from the teacher directly to Moses Lake Christian Academy.

q  Transcript Release Form:

Please be sure transcripts are legible. 

q  Home School Transcript Form: 

Please complete the enclosed Home School Transcript Form and include all achievement test scores, a written list of subjects taken and curriculum used. Provide the credits received, grades, and transcripts from any previously attended schools (if applicable) for the past 3 years.

q  Immunization Status Form: 

Required with applications for Preschool, Kindergarten and students previously home schooled. 

q  Financial Aid Application: 

Families intending to apply for financial aid can apply online at:  www.ffna1.com or contact the Main Office for an application.
